Stella grew up in Norfolk in a musical family. She studied piano with Wanda Jeziorska and gained Licentiates in Piano Teaching and Piano Performance from Trinity College of Music, London.
Stella has since pursued her passion for Primary Education – holding Director and Head of Music positions in schools in Suffolk, West and South East London, gaining her PGCE (Music) from Edgehill University and the Foundation Award from The Dalcroze Society (UK).
Since returning to Norfolk, Stella is excited about setting up a Da Capo Centre in partnership with Allens Music Centre and collaborating with other musicians in chamber and accompanist roles.
Victoria is a young and enthusiastic woodwind Teacher. Since graduating from Bath Spa University in 2012 she has been working both as a private and a peripatetic Teacher within Primary Schools in Norwich and Beccles. Victoria’s students have achieved great success in ABRSM examinations and County Music Festival competitions in clarinet, flute and saxophone.
If you have ever wanted to learn how to play the guitar or just want some guidance on how to improve generally, Luke can certainly point you in the right direction! You can learn any style you wish and all lessons are tailored to your individual needs. Whether you are learning for fun or want to earn qualifications in music on acoustic or electric guitar, you are most welcome.
Luke has a Rockschool Diploma in Performing Music alongside a CTTLS teaching qualification. He has led numerous workshops in the area and worked withing local school.
Sylvia has worked for twenty years teaching violin, viola and cello in academies, high schools and primary schools. She has also worked in Independent and International schools in Surrey and Norfolk. She enjoys a range of musical styles including classic, folk, jazz, blues etc. and works with her students on favourite styles. As you progress, you may want to work individually or with other towards examinations if you wish; Tuition is open to all ages and abilities, from beginner to advanced. So, if you haven't played for a long time, dust off that old instrument and have another go or start as a beginner and enjoy making music with others!
Clive has over 30 years of successful experience in education. This has encompassed Head of Music and Expressive Arts posts in high schools, senior management responsibilities including Assistant Headteacher as well as Ofsted Inspector accreditation.
Clive composes music for various media libraries and his work has been used in television, radio and theatrical productions.
As well as being able to teach at all levels/ages from beginner to diploma standard Clive is happy to tailor lessons to your exact requirements. In addition to standard lessons he is able to offer tuition in composition and songwriting. Finally, (in case you were wondering!) although sharing the same surname Clive is not related to the Allen [Music] family!
